Post-16 Results
We’re so proud to share our fantastic A-level and vocational results.
Our Headteacher, Mr. Ellul, shared in our celebration:
“Once again, our A-level and BTEC results are a testament to the hard work, commitment and resilience that our students have shown throughout their time in the Sixth Form. We are incredibly proud of all they have achieved, as well as the dedication and support from our staff and parents. As they take their next steps, we are confident they will continue to ‘live life to the full’ and thrive in whichever path they choose.”
Across the range of subjects, we performed strongly – and in some areas, exceptionally well. In RE, 100% of students achieved grades A*-B. In Geography, it was 60%, and in PE, 55%.
Our vocational results were especially impressive, with 63% of students earning Distinction* or Distinction grades – an 8% increase from last year – and 97% achieving Distinction* to Merit. Every single one of our students passed.
In Applied Science, 100% of students earned D*-D grades, and 83% in BTEC Business. These results place our school amongst the top-performing both in Barnet and nationally for vocational qualifications.
Mr. Aldridge, our Head of Sixth Form, said:
“On behalf of all the staff, I want to say how proud we are of our students. They have worked with real dedication throughout their time here and have truly embraced our Veritas values. Although it is always bittersweet to see them leave, we are confident they will continue to develop into mature and professional young adults who will make themselves, their families and the school very proud in the years ahead – we hope they continue to ‘live life to the full’ and keep us updated on their many successes!”

GCSE
We’re proud to share the amazing news of another fantastic set of GCSE results!
Our Headteacher, Mr. Ellul, said:
“We are so proud of our students. They are a credit to our school, and we couldn’t be happier to see the smiles as they opened up their results today. Throughout their time with us, they’ve lived out our VERITAS values, and I can’t wait to see how this translates to a positive impact on the wider world. I’d like to thank our entire community – our brilliant staff, supportive parents, wise governors and, most of all, our hardworking and inspiring students.”
-
Over 80% of our qualifications were grade 4 or higher, putting us more than 15% above the national average at this benchmark pass level.
-
More than a quarter of all grades were 7 or higher – the equivalent of A and A*s!
We’re especially proud of the results in:
-
English Literature, where over 90% achieved grade 4 or above.
-
Maths and Science, where we showed strong results across the board.
-
In PE, all students achieved between grade 9 and 4 – and 86% got grades 9–5!
-
History was another highlight, with almost half of students earning a grade 7 or above.
-
Our Community Languages results were amazing too – including 100% grade 9s in Persian and Russian, with top results in Polish and Chinese.
