This post is equally suited to those seeking their first Deputy Head teacher post or to Deputies seeking a new challenge. We would welcome applications from candidates who aspire to Headship and will support them in every way to achieve this.
The successful candidate will be a highly visible, collaborative and aspirational leader who will model the highest levels of professionalism and inspire, motivate and develop staff and pupils.
The Governing Body and Head teacher are seeking candidates with:
- A clear commitment to nurturing and promoting the school’s distinctive Catholic ethos.
- A secure knowledge and understanding of all curriculum requirements, accountability frameworks and the national agenda.
- A passion for providing the best possible holistic education for all students.
- Substantial and successful senior leadership experience in a secondary setting.
- A proven track record of raising standards in teaching and learning, delivering whole school improvements and developing a culture of accountability.
- A high degree of personal integrity, strong personal drive and resilience.
We are a Catholic community and strive to place Christ at the Centre of all aspects of school life. Applicants should be a practising Catholic, and in good standing with the church.
