Whole School Pilgrimage Day
Every 25 years, the Catholic Church celebrates a Jubilee Year—a sacred time dedicated to rest, reconciliation, forgiveness, and spiritual renewal. This year has been proclaimed the Jubilee Year of Hope, and to mark this special occasion, we have given every pupil in Years 7 to 10 the opportunity to go on a pilgrimage.
As part of this faith-filled experience, each form group, accompanied by staff and supported by our dedicated Sixth Form student helpers, embarked on their own pilgrimage journey. Travelling either on foot or by public transport, they visited different Catholic churches across the Diocese of Westminster.
This was far more than a school trip; it was a meaningful spiritual journey. It offered students a chance to encounter a new part of the Church, to reflect on their personal faith, and to take part in something much greater than themselves. It was a day that brought our school community together in prayer, joy, and unity.
Centred around the theme of hope, the pilgrimage invited students to light candles, join in prayer, and reflect quietly, reminding them that God is always with us—on the road, in our struggles, and in our joys.
We hope that each student came away inspired, uplifted, and renewed in their journey of faith.
